Swap your Xeno3 slide-out core with this unique design. Built with copper, featuring open panelling, rotating crystal, rich engraving and circuitry assembly. This core is of the same dimensions as the Nexus Sabers common slide-out core: a specific core format of 13,1cm in length (5,15") with a pogo connector for compatible sabers ONLY.
This is the absolute best core design, if the inside of your saber matters as much as the outside. As if you built yourself a true saber.
Important: Please make sure it matches the spec of your saber. Your should be able to measure your current core as a similar 13,1cm (5,15") long core. It features a pogo connector that cannot directly connect with a neopixel blade but that is meant to power and control a Core Matrix Hub (intermediate module that comprises the button and translates the signal to a neopixel emitter or a baselit LED module).
This core is NEOPIXEL by default. You can change this setting via the Xeno3 saber app to make it work with a baselit Core Matrix Hub.
This copper model has some VERY IMPORTANT specifics:
- NOT compatible with crossguard sabers that use the same slide-out core format
- Features a LOW BATTERY LIFE 2000mAh 16340 battery due to the dimension constraints. Meaning you should expect half the usual battery life (15 to 30min max) on a full charge.
- It is heavy, about 190g where a classic slide-out core weighs approx. 90g.
The core is delivered in a free mini transport case, adding to the premium feel.
Every core is installed with a SD card containing all 34 soundfonts and effects as well as the appropriate Li-Ion battery. The USB-C charging port is at the bottom of the core and the corresponding cable will be provided.
